Trials of Duty and Loss
Life tested her further. Her father-in-law met with an accident in Bangalore, and Priya, despite working in Pune with no leave allowance, travelled back and forth to care for him. At the same time, her beloved father was diagnosed with mouth cancer and underwent chemotherapy. Then came the COVID lockdown. Eight months pregnant, Priya endured isolation in Pune, caring for herself with immense difficulty.
Eventually, her brother Pratik and her father brought her home in a customised vehicle fitted with a bed. At nine months, complications led doctors to perform a C-section. Priya gave birth to a beautiful baby girl, Dhriti — named after the Sanskrit word for courage and stability. But support at home remained thin, leaving Priya heartbroken. Soon after, tragedy struck: her father passed away from cardiac arrest, leaving her devastated.

Falling and Rising Again
Depression consumed her. She gained weight, lost her hair, and felt her dreams shatter. But one day, she surrendered herself to Radha Rani, seeking divine strength. Slowly, she rebuilt herself. She researched tirelessly, creating a herbal hair oil using home infusion techniques inspired by her grandmother's age-old remedies. This oil helped her control her hair fall.
Alongside, she embraced a zero-calorie keto diet and yoga, regaining her health, confidence, and spirit. Priya expanded her knowledge into Ayurveda, crafting homemade products that blended tradition with modern needs. What began as self-healing transformed into entrepreneurship.
Today
Today, Priya Tripathi stands tall as a proud mother raising Dhriti with love and courage; a proud daughter honouring her father's teachings; a proud sister supported by Pratik in her darkest times; and, finally, a resilient entrepreneur turning shattered dreams into a thriving vision.
Her story is proof that getting back up is always a choice, as long as you are drawing breath.
